The Mount Players is a volunteer, community-based theatre company.
We rely on the enthusiasm and support of our members to produce our productions, and to run the theatre in general.
There is always a need for fresh faces to join the theatre family, and anyone of ANY experience level is welcomed.
WE NEED MORE THAN JUST ACTORS
ON THE STAGE!
Be Involved with a Production
Take the leap and cross the threshold from audience member to being a part of the production side of things.
There is a village of people who work together to put a show on stage, and there are plenty of different ways to get involved:

Help build and paint the set

Assist the Costume Team in sourcing or sewing costumes

Join the Orchestra/Band
-
Help in the with sound and lighting in the bio box

Help backstage with props and scene changes
-
Assist with Front of House or in the Bar (RSA required for bar duty) for one or two performances

Join the Production Team - help produce a show!
And the best part is if you are interested, but not sure what to do, we can show you how things are done and train you!

Not every production will be your favourite, but there might be something new or something that you'd never considered before, and who knows, you might be happily surprised!

Want to become involved more and show your support? Become a Financial Member of The Mount Players. Membership can be purchased online via Trybooking for just $30.00/year and an additional $10.00 per person for family members at the same address. Membership Year is January 1st - December 31st.
As we are an Incorporated Association, every member is bound by the Rules of Association.
Get Involved as an Advertiser
If you run a business, perhaps you would like to take up an advertising package at the theatre.
There are different packages available, all of which incorporate advertising your business on our website, facebook page, in the newsletter and in the performance programs.
