Money and Friends

Written by David Williamson
Directed by Debra Fabbro

A sharp social comedy about loyalty, hypocrisy and the price we put on relationships. When academic Peter is suddenly hit by financial trouble, his affluent circle of friends are quick with sympathy but painfully slow to offer real help. As their self-interest and moral discomfort bubble to the surface, the play exposes the fragile contracts that hold friendships together, and how quickly generosity evaporates when money enters the equation.
